Introduction to the Avval stock store project
We did not design the site of the corresponding Avval stock store; only the defects reported by the customer and identified by us have been fixed.
What we have done on this site is outlined below.
Avval stock store site problems during delivery to our group
- The site was permanently unavailable and could not be activated
- The site was not optimized and the caching system was not installed and adjusted
- The chosen server for hosting the site was not correctly selected and configured
- The design of the main page was extremely difficult in terms of DOM loops or nested elements and was used a lot.
Things that were done by our group to solve the problem of the Avval stock store
- Changing the server with suitable hosting
- Data transfer from the server to the hosting and its configuration
- Optimizing the site using appropriate plugins and related settings
- Modify the design of the main page of the site to solve the DOM problem
Description of problems and solutions to the problems of the Avval stock store site
Unfortunately, the site was inside a server before it was delivered to us, which was a Windows server with a Plesk control panel and an Inginx web server.
This control panel and web server is not suitable for WordPress sites at all. Linux servers perform much better in PHP than Windows servers.
Also, as mentioned in the Lightspeed training article, the Lightspeed web server has a much better result than the Inginx web server.
So we considered a Linux host with a Litespeed web server for this site.
We transferred the data and then installed the appropriate optimization plugins with the template and made its settings.
And finally, according to the review done by GT Metrix, we fixed all the problems and increased the speed of the site from 5.2 to 1.6 seconds.
